The passing of those so close to our hearts or those who we haven't had the pleasure to have ever met should forever exist as a wake-up call to us. Eventually, and as frightful and daunting as the thought is, our time will come to an end. This is not to dishearten us and encourage us to just give up now. This is to be a reminder that time does run out but that's not to persuade us to call it a day. It's a cue for us to make the most of our lives; to make those dreams, visions and desires come to life. To simply be happy. To love. To find joy in the simplest of things. To plain and simply be at peace that we tried to make the most of our time here.
We are all here for a reason even if we still don't know what that reason is. Life is about finding yourself embarking upon a journey not a set destination. Don't see life as having to pass from one point to another or having to be a happy moment to a happy moment because you will surely be dissapointed. Realise that life is about taking everything as it comes. It's about taking everyday as it comes and making every day better than the last. If one day of your life isn't going perfectly, that's not to say that you don't have the power to make the next day or another that little more special.
We have all lost someone that we've been blessed to have known and loved which should remind us that our time is so very precious. From this moment on may we live in such a way that if we leave tomorrow, we leave behind an honourable memory; a legacy. May we impact the lives of others and know that we made some sort of change or had a significant or special affect.
May we realise what our gift is and share it with the rest of the world. May we stop putting off things promising ourselves that we will get to them tomorrow. May we tell, but more importantly show, our family and friends how much we love them. May we be more appreciative and acknowledge all that we are privileged to have. May we be kind and loving to others, freeing ourselves from hate. May we end each day knowing that we tried our hardest and that we are good people.
We owe it to all the beautiful souls whose presence we've had the pleasure of being graced with to treasure our lives, to show each other endless respect and love, to see the beauty and value in everything and to make the most of it all while we are so lucky to have the chance. This is for all the angels in Heaven. May they R.I.P.
